Las Vegas Day 3 (Part 2)

After our morning at the Hoover dam we headed back into Vegas and had lunch at the Stratosphere, the tallest point in Las Vegas. The food was really good, and the restaurant, Top of the World, rotates around so you are always getting a new view. The Stratosphere has an area where people (who are obviously crazy can pay $100 to jump off the building, and a ride that swings people out over the edge of the building. We watched 3 people jump while we ate lunch which was definitely weird!

After lunch we headed to the Venetian and Palazzo hotels which were gorgeous! It is mind boggling the shops that you see around Vegas; Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Chanel, Coach and tons more. The money that rolls through that city is insane!

We saw the famous gondola rides, but the line was crazy long and we decided to do it.

Instead we walked around and were in awe at the beautiful scenery!

After resting for about 5 minutes we grabbed a quick pizza for dinner and then went to the top of the Eiffel tower to watch the Bellagio fountain show from the top. We were able to watch the Vegas sunset and see the super moon while we were at the Eiffel tower, and it was probably one of my favorite (and cheapest at only $11) things that we did during the entire trip.

View of the Paris pool from the Eiffel tower. The tower actually sits right over the pool.

So that’s it for our Vegas trip. It was a trip of a lifetime, and I’m so glad that I got to experience it with my sweet hubbie!
