So I felt enough real contractions to know that I wanted nothing in common with people who deliver naturally. After the pitocin started at 2, I was able to get 1 1/2 hrs of sleep with no problem, but wouzers, when the conractions hit, they hit with a vengeance. Just as I sent Jeremy down the hall to ask for my epidural I felt my water break. 15 minutes with epidural in place, I'm a happy camper and contractions are 2 to 3 min. apart.

I have never understood the fascination with natural childbirth. It's torture! So thankful for epi's!
